At first the wind was in my face and cycling more than 5miles per hour was a struggle. After about 15 miles I turned a corner at Guer Aike and it wasn’t so bad. I cycled on until it was dark and an Argentinean policeman offered me a lift a few miles to a lodgings told him I was just going to camp, bueno. The luxury of public transport yet again from Coyhaique to Puerto Ingeniero Ibanez then a wee ferry over to Chile Chico. As you can see by the photo the road to Puerto Ingeniero Ibanez has disappeared under snow so I didn’t think I was robbed of a doable cycle. I fixed it in one of the many ramshackled shop/cafes advertising Pan+Bebida. The chap in the shop had a bucket of water outside which is handy for the mending of punctures.
